Departments | Reserves
The Reserve Department is located on the first floor of the Library. Course reserves may be checked out from the Circulation Desk on the Library’s first floor. Electronic reserves are available online through the Library’s website.

Your assignments may require you to read materials on reserve at the Library. Faculty place materials on reserve to allow entire classes to access the same materials.
Print Reserves: To use print reserve materials, present your student ID at the Circulation Desk. Reserve materials may be checked out for 2 hour use in the library only, and 24 hour or 1 week periods, at the faculty member's discretion. Search by "Course" or "Instructor" to see all print materials on reserve for a particular class.
Electronic Reserves: To use electronic reserve materials, find your professor's course site, and use the password he or she provided to you to log in. You must have Adobe Reader installed on your computer in order to view and print these documents. Free copies are available for download at the Adobe web site.
Professors may submit up to fifty (50) course reserve items per course. Reserve materials must be submitted to the Library within the first week of the semester they are to be used, and should be arranged with a minimum of 72 hours preceding the assignment. the checkout period for items placed on print reserve will normally be 2 hours for use in the library only.

Before materials can be placed on reserve, the Department requires signed copies of the appropriate policy.
All faculty and student authored materials must be accompanied by a signed release form.
