Laptop computers and projectors are available at the circulation desk on a first come first serve basis. They can only be checked out by currently registered students who have a valid CSU-Pueblo ID card. A second form of photo identification must be presented and the Circulation Department will hold one form of ID at the desk until the laptop or projector and all accompanying equipment are returned.
Students must be in good standing with no fines or fees at or exceeding $20.00 and no blocks on their circulation records. Technology items can only be checked out after a student has completed and signed the Library Technology Equipment Agreement Form. New Laptops and projectors can be checked out for a three-hour period (subject to recall at any time) with the option of renewing one time for an additional three hours, if there are no students waiting. Reservations will not be accepted; however, students can add their name to the waiting list at the Circulation Desk. Laptops and projectors are available for In Library Use only. (Equipment may not be taken out of the LARC building, and is due back at the circulation desk 15 minutes prior to closing.)
Older laptops and Ipads may be checked out for 48 hours and may be taken out of the LARC building during that time. Laptop hard drives will be erased after each use, and all information should be saved to a disk, CD, or other portable storage device. Printing is available and student printing accounts will be debited at $.05 per page. Printouts can be obtained at the printers on the first and second floors. Additional printing can be purchased at the Card Value Centers located on the first floor of the Library and Academic Resources Center or the Technology Building Computer Lab. Ipad tablets are available at the circulation desk on a first come first serve basis. They can only be checked out by currently registered students, who have a valid CSU- Pueblo ID card. Lost and found items in the library are regularly turned in to the circulation desk, and from there are brought tothe larger campus lost and found in Auxiliary Services in the Occhiato Center.
The Audiovisual Collection is located near the Circulation Desk. Viewing and listening equipment for reserve materials is available in the technology rooms on the first floor. Rooms may be used for three hour blocks at the IT Help Desk. Library patrons may check out audiovisual materials not on reserve for student use for a one-week period with renewals available. Community members may purchase an LID card for $5.00 at the Circulation Desk to have circulation (up to 10 items), Prospector, interlibrary loan, and campus network privileges. To set up interlibrary loan privileges, LID users must first consult interlibrary loan staff. Community computers are located on the second floor in front of the Research Help Desk. LID cardholders who wish to print materials should consult a library staff member at the Circulation Desk or Information Desk for help in setting up printing. Wifi is available for those with their own laptops using the Patron wireless network.
District 60 and District 70 high school students with proper identification may check out 4 items.
