Circulation Department

The Circulation Department is located on the first floor of the Library. The circulation desk is the place to check out all library materials, including Interlibrary Loan and Prospector items.

Circulation Staff:

Matt DeCesaro, (719) 549-2209, matthew.decesaro@colostate-pueblo.edu.

General Information

Checkout Period: The checkout period is 4 weeks for books and most government documents, 1 week for audiovisual materials, and 2 days for bound journals. Materials are subject to recall after the initial loan period, if needed. CSU-Pueblo students, faculty and staff must have a valid ID to check out materials and may check out as many items as they wish. Community members may purchase an LID card for 5.00 for extended library privileges or register using their driver’s license number for limited checkout privileges.

Courtesy Returns: Circulating materials checked out directly from other libraries, (in addition to interlibrary loan items), can be routed for return to their home library if the circulation staff is notified. Take these items to the Circulation Desk.

Lost and Found: Items that are found in the LARC are turned in at the circulation desk, where they are held temporarily until being brought to Auxiliary Services in the OUC.
Exceptions are:

  • Jump drives, which are held at the IT Help Desk
  • ID cards (including LID cards), which are brought to Auxiliary Services
  • Wallets and purses, which are brought to the Sheriff’s Department in the basement of the Administration building
